The company mainly develops and produces new materials, new process and new technology of nonferrous metals, and has undertaken national or provincial science and technology key projects as a technical support unit for promotion of national scientific and technological achievements and Shandong nonferrous metal research and promotion center. The company has completed eight programs of national torch plan, spark plan, project for tackling key scientific and technological problems and provincial scientific research plan, wherein “New Decompression-Compression Casting Technique” won First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of Shandong and Third Prize for National Scientific and Technological Progress, “Crystallizer Cr-Zr-Cu Plate for Slab Continuous Casting” won the Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of Shandong, and the company obtained six patent technologies for blast furnace tuyere, cooper cooling stave, and cooling pillar. The products are widely used in over 80 domestic large and medium-sized iron and steel enterprises including Baosteel, Ansteel, Shagang, TISCO, Masteel, Laiwu Steel, Jinan Steel, Han-Steel, Tangshan Iron & Steel, Baogang, and BX Steel, and some products are exported to Japan, South Korea, India, Italy, USA, Turkey, Netherlands, etc. At present, the company has made outstanding achievements in power, railway, chemical industry and new energy with new materials.
