Yantai Lubao Nonferrous Alloy Co., Ltd., jointly invested by Baosteel Engineering & Technology Group Co., Ltd. and Shandong Justware Group Co., Ltd., specializes in R&D and manufacturing of nonferrous materials. It was identified as Provincial High-tech Enterprise in 1994 and passed the certification of ISO9001 in 1998.

Since its inception in 1987, the company has taken the lead in the industry at high starting point, high technology and high speed. The company covers an area of 60,000m2 and a building area of 20,000m2 and employs a staff of 280 people. 

The well-equipped company has the most advanced 3t vacuum induction furnace and other equipment for nonferrous metal smelting, as well as complete test equipment and detection means such as quick direct-reading spectrograph, ultrasonic flaw detection, X-ray flaw detection, water pressure test bench, flow test bench, and pressure loss test bench. Furthermore, the company stresses development of HR, improves technical quality of staff, performs the quality policy of “People Foremost, Success by Quality, Customer Satisfaction, Improvement & Innovation”, and introduces the advanced management concept to improve management level. 

The company mainly develops and produces new materials, new process and new technology of nonferrous metals, and has undertaken national or provincial science and technology key projects as a technical support unit for promotion of national scientific and technological achievements and Shandong nonferrous metal research and promotion center. The company has completed eight programs of national torch plan, spark plan, project for tackling key scientific and technological problems and provincial scientific research plan, wherein “New Decompression-Compression Casting Technique” won First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of Shandong and Third Prize for National Scientific and Technological Progress, “Crystallizer Cr-Zr-Cu Plate for Slab Continuous Casting” won the Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of Shandong, and the company obtained six patent technologies for blast furnace tuyere, cooper cooling stave, and cooling pillar. The products are widely used in over 80 domestic large and medium-sized iron and steel enterprises including Baosteel, Ansteel, Shagang, TISCO, Masteel, Laiwu Steel, Jinan Steel, Han-Steel, Tangshan Iron & Steel, Baogang, and BX Steel, and some products are exported to Japan, South Korea, India, Italy, USA, Turkey, Netherlands, etc. At present, the company has made outstanding achievements in power, railway, chemical industry and new energy with new materials.
